Kingsbury could surpass Brassard for most World Cup podiums by Canadian mogul skier

March 15, 2014, Voss, Norway (ISN) – In only his 4th season on the World Cup Circuit, a victory tomorrow in Voss, Norway would make Mikaël Kingsbury Canada’s all-time World Cup Mogul Winner.

It took Jean-Luc Brassard 11 full seasons to amass 21 World Cup Wins. Kingsbury might do it in four!*

In other horse races to keep an eye on this weekend:

-Kingsbury and Olympic Champion Alex Bilodeau are currently battling it out to become the 2014 Mogul and Overall World Cup/Crystal Globe Champion and owner of the Crystal Globe.

-With three starts left this season, Bilodeau’s 45 podiums in nine seasons are two away from tying Jean-Luc Brassard’s 47 total number of podiums. (Kingsbury has 37 podiums.)

In the Women’s Race:

Like their male counterparts, American Hannah Kearney and Justine Dufour-Lapointe are fighting to become the 2014 Mogul Champion and owner of the Crystal Globe.

Kearney is 25 points ahead of Justine in the moguls race. In third place overall is older sister Maxime. And in fourth is middle sister Chloé.
