March 19, 2014, SPOKANE, Wash. (ISN) – The Spokane Indians are now taking applications for the 2014 Summer Internship Program. The Indians are looking for prospective candidates with junior, senior or post-grad college experience. All interns must be available to work all 38 Spokane Indians home games, and a schedule can be found here.

Marketing and Promotions Intern (3)
The Marketing and Promotions Intern will gain valuable knowledge and practical experience in the realm of professional sports as it relates to promotions, marketing, sponsorship fulfillment, and event management. Additionally, the internship is designed to assist in the development of time management, teamwork, leadership, and customer service.

Ticket Office Intern (2)
The focus of the Ticket Office Internship is to work alongside and learn from the Spokane Indians Ticket Staff while aiding with the in-season operation and development of the Ticket Department. This summer position will also provide an opportunity to gain experience within other departments of the Spokane Indians Organization.

Public Relations / Broadcasting Intern (1)
The Public Relations/Broadcasting intern will be mentored by the Director of Public Relations and other members of Indians staff. The Public Relations/Broadcast Intern will direct, shoot and edit video, as well as create and brainstorm written content, which will be used for team promotional purposes.
The ideal candidate will be seeking to gain experience shooting corporate, interview, and how-to style videos, pre- and post-production, generating positive media coverage, writing content for print/online, etc., while leveraging web produced elements for their portfolio.
