Canada end England tour with 35-10 victory

March 22, 2014 (ISN) – Canada’s Men’s Under-20 Team finished their three-game England tour with a 35-10 victory over Leeds Carnegie Academy.

Graham Dobbs, Jack Smith, Ben Lesage, Matt Mullins and Sam Hayward scored tries in the victory. With the victory, Canada returns home with a 1-2 record after earlier losing to Leicester Tigers’ Academy and Sale Sharks’ U20 Side.

The 12-day tour is in preparation for the upcoming IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy taking place April 7-19 in Hong Kong, where Canada will face Japan, Namibia and Uruguay in the pool stages.

The team will now return to the Canadian Rugby Centre of Excellence in Langford, British Columbia to train for a little over a week before departing for Asia.
