April 10, 2014, VICTORIA, B.C. (ISN) – The Victoria HarbourCats are excited to announce that SATURDAY, APRIL 12 will be the date that season ticket holders and ticket-pack purchasers can start selecting their seats for the 2014 West Coast League season.

10 am to Noon – Season ticket holders select seats

Noon to 3pm – 10-pack and Christmas promo purchasers, select seats

NOTE – Season tickets are still available and can be purchased on Saturday at the office

  • The HarbourCats will announce the team’s finalized 2014 coaching staff on Friday, and next two weeks will see the team announce the full promotional schedule, an additional exhibition game as part of an overall celebration of the game of baseball in the CRD, and the introduction of more players for the coming season.
  • Also soon to be announced is the team staffing structure for this summer, including the medical and athletic training staff.
  • RHP Michael Gershman will not be joining the team for 2014, as he will return to play for the Weyburn Beavers of the Western Major Baseball League. Gershman was signed to a 10-day contract by the HarbourCats in March, and is a junior at Valley City State in North Dakota (NAIA). The current HarbourCats roster stands at 32 players.
  • League governor meetings covering a large number of pre-2014 topics are taking place in Seattle on Monday, and President John McLean will represent the HarbourCats.
