April 15, 2014, DUNEDIN, Florida (ISN) – The Junior National Team travelled to the spring training home of the Toronto Blue Jays earlier today, but were only able to get two innings in against the Jays extended prospects before rain caused the cancellation of the remainder of the game.

Gareth Morgan (Toronto, ON) doubled off the right field wall in the top of the first and scored when Josh Naylor (Mississauga, ON) singled to give the juniors a 1-0 lead.

The Jays answered back in the bottom of the inning scoring a run off starter Mike Soroka (Calgary, AB) and added another in the bottom of the second before the game was called.

Up Next: The juniors will resume play at ESPN Wide World of Sports tomorrow in Lake Buena Vista when they take-on the Detroit Tigers extended club at 1pm ET…LHP JP Stevenson (Hunter River, PE) is expected to start.
