April 26 2014 ISN – DRESDEN – Vincent Chartier and Alexandre Corriveau, both of Terrebonne, Que., won
gold and bronze on men’s platform in the 14-15 age group on Saturday at the

medal with 428.95 points. Alin Rontu of Romania was second at 420.35 and Corriveau
took the bronze at 420.20.
”I never expected I would win a medal here,” said Chartier, who turned 14 two

was pretty surprised when everybody came over to congratulate me. It was fun.”
Corriveau was also pleased with his performance.
”It was pretty good in general,” he said. ”There are some things I need to
improve but I’m proud of my result. The highlight for me was my front three and a
half which I did much better than in prelims.”
On women’s 16-18 one-metre, Frédérique Lalonde of Montreal was seventh and in the
women’s 14-15 three-metre Lindsay Leonard of Montreal was 12th.
Competition ends Sunday.
