VANCOUVER – Two UBC Thunderbirds softball players were named to the Association of Independent Institutions’ Second All-Conference Softball Team on Wednesday night at the A.I.I. Conference Softball Championship banquet in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Senior pitcher-outfielder Alana Westerhof earned recognition as the A.I.I.’s second-team utility player. Both players were honoured with a place on the first All-Conference Team last season.
