May 9, 2014, Montréal (ISN) – As part of the 2014 marketing campaign for the 2014 Rogers Cup presented by National Bank, from August 1-10, 2014, Tennis Canada invites fans to support their favourite player via social media.

The players will also encourage their fans to participate through a video that will circulate on the digital channels.
 
Following the staging of two Fed Cup ties in Quebec this year where people patriotically showed their colours, Tennis Canada is once again asking fans to choose their favourite, this time during the Rogers Cup, by launching the “Choose Your Team” campaign. They will be able to support their favourite player on social media by using #CoupeRogers along with one of the following player team hashtags:  
 
#RenasArmy (Serena Williams)
#SharaFamily (Maria Sharapova)
#TeamVika (Victoria Azarenka)
#LiNation (Na Li)
#TeamAWoz (Aleksandra Wozniak)
#GenieArmy (Eugenie Bouchard)
 
Fans are welcome to support any player competing in the Rogers Cup. We want to know who they are rooting for. 
 
A facebook contest will be hosted on the Rogers Cup page from May 20 to June 23 encouraging tennis mavens to choose their team by submitting a photo that illustrates their allegiance. Participants will have the chance to win a pair of front row seats for opening night at the tournament on Monday August 4, 2014. The winner will be chosen at random.
