May 17 2014 ISN – WINNIPEG –Cody Yano of Edmonton reclaimed the Canadian men’s three-metre diving

Yano, the 2013 winter nationals champion, earned his biggest scores on his opening
two dives in the final and finished with 450.30 points.
François Imbeau-Dulac of St-Lazare, Que., a 2012 Olympic team member, followed at
445.65 and two-time Olympian and defending champion Riley McCormick of Victoria was
third at 424.40.
”This is a big step for me,” said Yano, seventh at the 2014 Winter National in
January. ”When I won last year, I made a few mistakes. Today I was solid from the

to have done this well.”

best 397.25 to stand first with Roseline Filion of Laval, Que., second at 345.35 and

Commonwealth Games this summer.
