May 27,2014 (ISN )- VICTORIA, B.C. – For their second year in the West Coast League, the Victoria HarbourCats have thrown a change-up and made improvements to the way that food service will be offered at Sports Traders Diamond at Royal Athletic Park – and the changes should have fans salivating.

Returning for Year Two of HarbourCats baseball is Spinnaker’s outstanding beer products, which were so popular with fans in 2013. Mike’s Hard will also be available for fans to enjoy, along with Okanagan Cider and Sonora Ranch wine.

The concourse area and “BBQ Deck” have been revamped, and all areas are accessible for all fans this season. It’s simple – buy a ticket, and choose whichever great food offering you wish, or sample them all.

Located on the third-base side of the concourse this year, and a new addition to the HarboutCats gameday lineup, is Bin 4 Burger Lounge, and their signature award-winning burgers – the Heritage, Pre-Season Favourite, Wild Mushroom, Mr. Bean, Bacon Parmigiano, and a new addition, The HarbourCat burger. Included will be an option for a gluten-free bun, and their famous chips are on the menu.

“Bin4 has a stellar reputation in this market, with bustling locations downtown (Yates/Vancouver) and Westshore, and we are very pleased to have them joining us at Sports Traders Diamond this season,” said General Manager Jim Swanson.

Supplying pizza for fans this year is Romeo’s, an outstanding pizzamaker in Victoria and known for their exceptional quality. Romeo’s and Bin 4 Burger Lounge will be at the park for every home game.

Also appearing at Sports Traders Diamond on a rotating basis will be Pigg, Grilled to the Mac, Langos by Louie, A Street Car Named New Orleans, Hungry Rooster, and West Coast Salmon Burgers.

The main concession will again serve its signature hotdogs with the carmelized onions, drinks, and a full selection of other items. For those looking for a protein/energy bar, the HarbourCats and City of Victoria have worked out an arrangement to have Vancouver Island’s own The Edge Energy Bar products at the concession.

“We think the selection at the park will answer the hunger or thirst for anyone, and any taste,” said Swanson. “It’s about offering quality and variety, at affordable prices, because we have a great family atmosphere at HarbourCats baseball games.”
