June 12,2014(ISN) – LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western sprinter Nathan George (Coquitlam, B.C.), long jumper Sabrina Nettey (Surrey, B.C.) and racewalker Katelynn Ramage (Nanaimo, B.C.) have all been named to Team BC’s contingent that will compete at the 2014 Canadian Track & Field Championships.
The Spartans trio will represent B.C. later this month in Moncton, N.B. from June 26-29.
George, Nettey and Ramage were part of a 30-athlete group that was named to the team.
George is coming off a weekend in which he posted a personal best time of 46.77 in the 400m at the Jesse Bent Memorial Cheetah Meet in Coquitlam, B.C. At the same meet, Nettey jumped an outdoor season’s best 6.13m.
Ramage has also already had an impressive spring, as earlier this year she represented Canada at the 2014 IAAF World Race Walking Cup in Taicang, China, finishing 82nd in the 20km event in 1:49.30.
