(ISN) – Victoria, BC — June 18, 2014) The 3^rd Annual Victoria Goddess Run
raised $30,000 for its three official charities. This brings the total
raised over three years to $100,000. Over 2,100 registered for this
highly successful women’s-only run, that took place on June 1 in
Langford, BC.

Five dollars from each registration was donated to the Victoria Women’s
Transition House, Victoria Sexual Assault Centre or KidSport — Active
Girls Program, with participants choosing which charity would benefit
from their donation. The weekend also included Moksha Sunset Yoga, a 3K
Westin Bathrobe Run/Walk and a 1.5K Family Run/Walk with proceeds going
to the three charities. Each charity also received additional donations
as a direct result of being a beneficiary of the Goddess Run.

pride that the committee had in hosting over 2,000 women in activities
including yoga, the Westin Bathrobe Run, the kids run and the main
events BMO 5K, Westhills 10K and the Red Barn Market Half Marathon,”
said Race Director Cathy Noel. “The weather was perfect on race day and
thanks to the City of Langford, all our sponsors, volunteers and
