Sabrina Nettey Captured a Silver Medal in Long Jump

July 2,2014(ISN) – LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western’s Sabrina Nettey (Surrey, B.C.) captured
a silver medal in long jump at the 2014 Canadian Track and Field Championships to
lead an impressive Spartans contingent this past weekend in Moncton, NB.

Nettey jumped 6.00m to nab second place and was only bettered by her sister,
Christabel Nettey, who posted a Canadian Championships record jump of 6.64m.

Meanwhile, the Spartans Nathan George continued what has been a remarkable summer as
he clocked a personal best time of 46.69 in the 400m to finish fourth.
