July 10 ,2014(ISN) – LANGFORD, BC – Canadian Sevens stalwarts Phil Mack and Nanyak Dala have been announced as unavailable for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Scotland due to injury.

Mack, 28, and Dala, 30, who both suffered injuries earlier in the year, join fellow internationals Liam Underwood and Duncan Maguire on the list of players not in contention for Canada Sevens Interim Head Coach, Kieran Crowley.

Canada’s Men’s Sevens Team opens the 2014 Commonwealth Games on Saturday, July 26 against the four-time defending champions from New Zealand, before taking on Barbados and hosts Scotland to close out Day One.
