Cougars Invite All Fans to Attend Friday’s Alumni Meet and Greet

July 17,2014(ISN) – Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Cougars in conjunction with the Spirit of
the North Healthcare Foundation look forward to welcoming everybody to the Third
Annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament.

Starting Friday, July 18th at 4:00 PM, all fans are invited to attend a free
autograph session and meet and greet with the Prince George Cougars alumni.

“Our meet and greet session for the general public is a great opportunity for the
Cougars fans of Prince George to meet our stars from the past who have strong ties
to our city and our team,” said Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf
Tournament Chairman Gary Samis.

“This event continues to get better with each passing year, and the Prince George
Cougars are thrilled to be a part of it,” adds Prince George Cougars General
Manager, Todd Harkins. “It’s very important that we provide our fans with the
opportunity to reconnect with their favorite players who have helped shape the
cornerstones of our franchise.”

The autograph session will take place from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM on the deck of the
Prince George Golf and Curling Club and autograph passports will be available by
donation for them to get signed. Fans will have a chance to interact with their
favorite Prince George Cougars, of the past. Confirmed alumni include: Dan Hamhuis,
Eric Brewer, Brett Connolly, Nick Drazenovic, and many more. Kids will also get to
visit with both Rowdy Cat, and Nanguz, the official Canada Winter Games Mascot!

Proceeds from the Third Annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf
Tournament will go to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation towards the
purchase of a diagnostic SPECT CT camera. The previous two tournaments have helped
raise a total of $68,286.73 towards health care in the North.
