Day One Round Up

Good morning!  Day two of the Games has started with the hosts looking to build on the foundations of success laid by the Judo and swimming teams.  Team England finished the first day at the head of the medals table with 17 medals, including 7 gold, although Sir Bradley Wiggins had to settle for silver in the 4000m team pursuit.

July 25, 2014 (ISN) Across the Games, there are events in badminton, boxing, track cycling, rhythmic gymnastics, hockey, judo, lawn bowls, netball, shooting, squash, swimming, table tennis and weightlifting.  We’ll be concentrating mainly on netball, boxing and rhythmic gymnastics but as always we’ll bring you all of the results relating to Team Canada as we get them.
