26 July, 2014 (ISN)  In a match the everyone knew Team Canada were going to struggle in the New Zealand Rugby Sevens surprised no one with a comfortable win against the Canada Sevens squad.  The New Zealanders gave the impression of not having gotten into top gear, appearing to be barely out of breath by the end of the match.

Try scorers Tim Mikkelson (1), D.J. Forbes (2), Akira Ioane (1), Bryce Heem (1) & Ben Lam (2) ensured a convincing win over Canada as New Zealand confirmed their credentials as the hot favourites for the Rugby Sevens gold and continued an undefeated streak started in 1998.
