Aug 4,2014(ISN) – The Victoria HarbourCats have added more ‘Victoria’ to the equation for the
final six games of the regular season.

The HarbourCats have added four current or former Eagles PBL team pitchers
to the roster for the remainder of the 2014 West Coast League schedule.

RHP Eric Hegadoren, who just completed participating with the Victoria
Mavericks senior baseball team at provincials in Trail, will join the
HarbourCats for the final home series against the Kitsap BlueJackets, which
takes place Friday through Sunday at Sports Traders Diamond. Hegadoren
started the season with the HarbourCats as a 10-day player. Hegadoren is
not able to be with the team for the series in Walla Walla that starts on
Tuesday.

Also signed to bolster the bullpen options are three graduating Victoria
Eagles players — Drew Davidoff, Dallas Patterson and Riley Edmunds. All
three will be on the road trip to Walla Walla and will stay with the
HarbourCats through the conclusion of the regular season.

Davidoff was 0-3 with a 6.87 ERA in 14 games, including two starts, for the
Eagles this season. Edmonds started nine games, including two complete
games, and appeared in 10 games with a 4-3/3.17 mark. Patterson saw action
in 12 games, starting nine times and completing five games, and was 8-0
with a 2.24 ERA.

The HarbourCats will be without RHP Ryan Keller for the rest of the season
due both to injury and academic issues, while RHP Mikey Wright will not be
available for the final home series due to a requirement he has in
returning to school in California. OF Wyler Smith is also available only to
hit for this next series due to a shoulder ailment.

Friday’s game is Mike’s Hard Lemonade Military Appreciation Night presented
by BELL Media, and Saturday’s game is Wallace Driving School Fireworks
presented by CHEK-TV. Sunday, an afternoon game, is Pure Day Spa Fan
Appreciation game.
