Carlo Makes Final U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp

Aug 6,2014(ISN) – Kennewick, WA – Tri-City Americans defenseman Brandon Carlo has made the cut for the
U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp Roster, as announced by USA Hockey today.

“We congratulate Brandon on advancing in the World Junior camp selection and wish
him all the best,” Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory said. “This
is a tremendous experience for his continued development.”

The roster was cut from 42 to 27 players. Carlo and the remaining roster will
compete against Sweden on Wednesday, Aug. 6, Finland on Thursday, Aug. 7 and the
Czech Republic on Saturday, Aug. 9. All of the games will be played at the Olympic
Center’s USA Rink.

The players are still fighting for a spot on the 2015 U.S. World Junior Championship
team that will compete from Dec. 26, 2014- Jan. 5, 2015 in Montreal and Toronto,

Carlo is one of eight defenseman that made the team and is one of four WHL players
on the team.

Carlo completed his rookie season for the Americans in 2013-14. He played in 71
games for Tri-City, racking up three goals, 13 points and 66 penalty minutes.
