Aug 19,2014(ISN) – We are very excited to announce that three
of our young CIHL stars, Justin Cheng, Tim Kobler and Korbinian Lutz,
will be taking their talents west this year and continuing their hockey
development in Canada.

Forwards Justin Cheng and Tim Kobler are relocating to Cornwall, Ontario
to play at the Cornwall Hockey Academy while goalie Korbinian Lutz will
be moving to Alberta and continuing his training at the Banff Hockey
Academy.

We would like to thank Justin, Tim and Korbinian for their participation
in the CIHL and wish them the best of luck as they begin a new chapter
in what we hope will be long and successful hockey careers.

**Longer Games – More Playing Time** As part of the CIHL’s effort to
provide the best training experience for Hong Kong national team
players, the game format for the upcoming season will be expanded to
three, 15 minute stop time periods.

Additional playing time will provide more players the opportunity to
join the league and enjoy the “Coolest Game in Asia”!

**Sponsorship Drive** Our continued success has been in large part to
the support of our sponsors. As we enter our fourth season, we are again
looking for exciting new partnerships to support the development of ice
hockey in Hong Kong.

The primary goal of the CIHL is to harness the existing interest in ice
hockey in Hong Kong and provide a platform for the region’s talented
youth players to further their skills.

The CIHL relies on the continued support of community minded
organizations to continue to develop programs that will foster such
youth development and ensure that players continue to get an affordable,
safe environment to play the game they love.
