Sept 14.2014(ISN) – Three goals in 4:53 for Salmon Arm in the 2nd Period staked the Silverbacks to a 4-1 lead, but the West Kelowna Warriors battled back to tie it before falling in Overtime.

The Warriors would get on the board first on a PP goal from Jordan Masters, but the Silverbacks tied it up from a Taylor Maruya marker before the end of the 1st.

Salmon Arm would get a PP goal of their own at 9:55 from Shane Danyluk, and goals from Carson Bolduc, and Andrew Farny at 12:00 and 14:48 gave them a 4-1 lead.

The comeback would appear to start just 33 seconds into the final period, as Greydon Robinson fired a point shot on a 5 on 3 to make it 4-2.

Then at 16:27, Mac Ferner would fire a point shot past Angus Redmond, and Jonathon Desbiens buried the tying goal at 17:18.

2:22 into the overtime session, Maruya would get his 2nd of the night as he went short side shelf on Scott Patton for the Game Winning Goal.
