Westshore Rebels grab 3 BCFC 2014 All-Star awards

(ISN) – The British Columbia Football Conference is pleased to announce their Major Award winners and All Stars for the 2014 regular season. Jordan Rodinsky, Chris Pastro and Braeden Swatez all earned All-Star in their respective positions for the season.

Receiver: Jordan Rodinsky – 45 catches, 840 yards and 6 touchdowns
Linebacker: Chris Pastro – (second consecutive year)– 37 tackles*, 16 assists, 3 sacks, 2 blocked kicks, 1 forced fumble
Defensive Back: Braeden Swatez – 21 tackles, 8 assists, 3 knockdowns, 7 interceptions*, 1 forced fumble, 3 rumble recoveries

There are 26 players in total that have been named as BCFC All-Stars. The All-Star Returner and Major Awards winner will be announced next week. All-Canadians will be announced during the Canadian Bowl week.

Alex Bradley – Okanagan Sun (second consecutive year) – 77 carries, 672 yards, 5 touchdowns and an average of 8.7 yards a carry helped him win the 2014 rushing title.
Jacob Palmarin – Kamloops Broncos – 91 carries*, 613 yards, 1 touchdown and an average of 8.7 yards a carry

Receivers:

Marshall Cook – Vancouver Island Raiders – 64 catches*, 1,084 yards* and 9 touchdowns
Jordan Rodinsky – Westshore Rebels – 45 catches, 840 yards and 6 touchdowns
Daniel English – Langley Rams – 39 catches, 862 yards and 9 touchdowns
Derek Yachison – Kamloops Broncos – 49 catches, 765 yards and 5 touchdowns
