Chair of the Championship, Christian Brosseau commented on the tournament so far saying “The second day proved to be more of a struggle for the players. The wind made things tougher for all players.

That has only made things more interesting as the competition is getting closer on the men’s and women’s side.”

In the women’s team competition, the St. Lawrence Lady Lions (RSEQ) are still in first place. They hold a 9 stroke lead over the Fraser Valley Lady Cascades (PACWEST). The UBC-Okanagan Heat (PACWEST) comes in third two strokes behind Fraser Valley.

On the individual side, Jarred Callbeck, from Camosun, took sole possession of first place shooting a 2-under par 70. He has a 1 stroke lead over Hugo Bernard from Andre-Laurendeau who shot the best round today with a 68. Adam Poulin, from St. Lawrence comes in third, one shot behind Bernard. Three golfers are tied for fourth, one shot off the podium, Etienne Papineau, Poulin’s teammate on the Lions team, Erick Locke from Holland and Grant Maskiewich from Camosun.
