Vancouver, BC – UBC men’s hockey is back in action at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre this weekend as they host the University of Lethbridge. Both Friday and Saturday night’s games begin at 7:00 pm.

The UBC Thunderbirds are 2-2-2 on the season, and will look to gain ground in the competitive Canada West standings this weekend against the Lethbridge Pronghorns.

The Thunderbirds, currently sixth in Canada West, sit two points behind the mass of teams tied for third in the conference, and only four points behind the teams tied for first. The Lethbridge Pronghorns have yet to break the ice in the win column, as they are 0-6-0 thus far.

Goaltenders Dylan Tait and Damien Ketio have split time for the Pronghorns, and have a combined 25 goals-against through six games. Defenseman Tim Campell leads the team in points with two goals and one assist.
