(ISN) – The Portland Winterhawks have acquired 20-year-old goaltender Bolton Pouliot from the Kamloops Blazers.
Pouliot is in his fifth WHL season, with 91 career games split between the Red Deer Rebels and Kamloops Blazers. In six games with Kamloops this season he was 4-2 with a goals against average of 3.04 and .899 save percentage. Pouliot has posted a career goals against average of 3.56 and save percentage of .895.
“Bolton is a veteran goaltender we believe will be a positive addition to our club,” said Portland Winterhawks General Manager & Head Coach Jamie Kompon.
Pouliot is the cousin of former Winterhawks defenseman Derrick Pouliot.
