CIS TOP 10 #8 – SPARTANS WVB, WSOC, WXC, MVB NO. 2, MXC NO. 8

LANGLEY, British Columbia – No. 2 is the number of the week in the Trinity Western athletics department as four teams, including women’s volleyball, soccer and cross country and men’s volleyball are ranked No.

2 in the CIS Top 10. The other ranked Spartans team is the men’s cross country team, who come in at No. 8.

This is the second week in a row that five of the six in season Spartans CIS teams are ranked in the Top 10.

Both the Spartans women’s volleyball and women’s soccer teams dropped from No. 1 to No. 2 this week while the women’s cross country team maintained its second ranked status for the second straight week.

The men’s volleyball moved up from No. 3 to No. 2 in the second poll of the year while the men’s cross country team moved back up to No. 8 after dropping to No. 10 last week.
