NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Senior forward Lauren Bohaboy scored her team-high seventh goal, and her fourth in her past five starts, to provide No. 9 Notre Dame with the winning tally for the second consecutive contest in a 1-0 win against Louisville on Senior Day at Alumni Stadium Sunday.

The Fighting Irish (12-4-1, 7-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) won its fifth consecutive conference match, clinching the fourth and final berth into next month’s ACC Championship in the process.

The Fighting Irish held a 22-5 shot advantage on Louisville (7-8-2, 3-4-2 ACC), including an 8-3 cushion in shots on goal, and attempted four corner kicks while holding the Cardinals without a single corner try.

In the eighth minute, sophomore forward Kaleigh Olmsted sent a looping cross to a waiting Bohaboy, who headed home her second consecutive game-winning goal to give Notre Dame a 1-0 lead at 8:10.
