(ISN) – University of Victoria forward Adam Klein has been named the BCIHL’s player of
the week as of October 26th.
Klein has had a great start to the season with a total of 11 points (7 goals, 4
assists) in 6 games so far. He continued his fast start to the season on Friday night
when he was a big part of the 8-3 victory against the SFU clan with 4 points, both
opening the scoring for the Vikes and notching the eventual game winning goal
shorthanded. As if that weren’t enough, Klein scored again on a first period power
play on Saturday against the Trinity Western Spartans in a 6-5 defeat. He ended the
weekend with 5 points in two games.
Adam Klein leads the Vikes in goals with seven goals and 11 points through six
games and currently is third overall in the BCIHL.
The runners up for this week’s award are: Spartans defenseman Jake Horcoff,
Selkirk College defenseman Stefan Gonzales and Vikes defenseman Dylan Hykawy.
