Warriors Acquire Gelsinger

(ISN) – WEST KELOWNA, BC – The West Kelowna Warriors have acquired F Brayden Gelsinger (95) from the Cowichan Valley Capitals in exchange for F Adam Osczevski (95) and F Kade Kehoe (96).

The 5’10”, 170 lbs Gelsinger, who was leading the 3-14 Capitals in points with 19 in 17 games, has 82 games of BCHL experience to go along with 12 games for the WHL’s Kamloops Blazers.

“In acquiring Brayden, we get a proven playmaker that improves the offensive look of our hockey club,” said Head Coach Rylan Ferster. “It’s never easy to part with two character players like Adam and Kade; we wish them success with Cowichan.”

Osczevski had 13 points in 62 games in a Warriors uniform, while Kehoe had 2 goals and 2 assists in 11 games this season.

The West Kelowna Warriors would like to welcome Brayden to the organization, and thank Adam and Kade for their contributions during their time in West Kelowna and the best of luck moving forward in their hockey careers.
