Current Broncos are very excited to hear the news that Swift Current was named host
city for the 2016 Ford World Women’s Curling Championships.
“Swift Current and Southwest Saskatchewan have always supported us and we are
eager to support an event like this which is tremendous for our community”
commented Bronco Coach, General Manager and Alternate Governor Mark Lamb.
“Regardless of the affect it may have on our team” he concluded.
“It remains unclear what affect The 2016 Ford World Women’s Curling Championships
may have on the Broncos 2016 home playoff schedule, but we are committed to doing
our part in making the event a success” commented Broncos Assistant General
Manager/Director of Business Operations Dianne Sletten. “We hope that the Party in
the Patch carries on into a ‘Party in the Playoffs’ for hockey and curling fans” added
Sletten.
The 2016 Ford World Women’s Curling Championships will be held at The Credit Union
i-Plex in Swift Current March 19-27, 2016.
