Stingers shut the door, end 57-game skid against Puck Martlets

MONTREAL — Stingers centre Marie-Pier Cloutier lone goal in the first period was enough, as Concordia’s women’s hockey team hung on to blank McGill 1–0 on “Score With School” day, a rare morning tilt at McConnell Arena on Friday.

The loss snapped McGill’s 57-game overall win streak against Concordia, started by a 5–2 victory against their crosstown opponents at home on February 19, 2006.

McGill goaltender Taylor Hough stopped 14 of 15 shots, falling to 1–1–0 on the season.
