Wide receiver Rodreke Joseph of the Mount Allison Mounties is the Atlantic University Sport football offensive player of the week for the week ending Nov. 9, 2014.

A second-year arts student from Toronto, Ont., Joseph had four receptions for 94 yards, including two touchdowns, in Mount Allison’s 29-7 win Saturday over StFX in the Subway AUS Loney Bowl in Sackville, N.B.

With the win, the Mounties extended their undefeated season (9-0), earned their second consecutive AUS championship banner and advanced to compete in the 2014 CIS Mitchell Bowl, Saturday, Nov. 22, versus the to-be-determined OUA champion.

Defensive lineman Shaun Robinson of the Mount Allison Mounties is the Atlantic University Sport football defensive player of the week.

A first-year arts student from Halifax, N.S., Robinson posted 4.5 total tackles (three solo and three assisted) in Mount Allison’s 29-7 AUS championship win Saturday versus StFX.

Among them were 3.5 tackles for a loss of 20 total yards, including two sacks for a loss of 13 total yards. Robinson also had a fumble return for five yards in the Mounties victory.

Academic program: BSc Chemistry
Height and weight: 6’1″, 200lbs

Punt returner Michael Bohan of the Mount Allison Mounties is the Atlantic University Sport football special teams player of the week.

A third-year chemistry student from Sackville, N.B., Bohan had three punt returns for 53 total yards for an average of 17.7 yards in Mount Allison’s AUS championship banner win Saturday over the StFX X-Men.

His longest punt return was for 34 yards.

Also serving as a Mount Allison defensive back, Bohan’s stats included a 7.5 total tackles (six solo and three assisted) and a pass break up on defence in Saturday’s victory.
