PGA Tour Player Roger Sloan Set to Drop The Puck


Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops Blazers will have PGA Tour player Roger Sloan as a special guest at tomorrow night’s game against the Prince George Cougars.

Sloan will drop the puck in a ceremonial face-off prior to the start of the game.

The 27-year-old has worked his way up the professional golf ranks since turning pro in 2009.

Sloan started on the Canadian Tour winning twice in 2011, including the Western Championship at Rivershore Golf Links in Kamloops.

The Merritt, BC product won the 2014 Nova Scotia Open on the tour this past year which helped him earn his full-time PGA Tour status for the 2015 golf season.
