Art in Victoria – Corporate Art Installation at The Alexis Building

813

ART IN YOUR OFFICE: last weekend we spent the day installing art in the lobby of the Alexis Building on Fort Street in downtown Victoria, BC. Hanging seven paintings total from my series, ‘Nature’s Abstractions’, which includes my Arbutus tree, sequoia tree, maple leaf and water reflections paintings. An important part of the job when installing artwork in a public lobby, is ensuring security, assuring the client that the paintings will not slide or be easily removed from the wall.

To install these paintings we used a secure hanging latch system, instead of the usual brass hook. This system offers us solid hanging for theft and movement prevention as well as a secure and level placement on the wall. As you can see in the photos below, the installation looks beautiful, an office lobby was transformed into a gallery of original Canadian art. More about the benefits of collecting original art and corporate art collecting.
