teddy bear toss

(ISN) – The Victoria Grizzlies of the B.C. Hockey League are excited about their next home game – Saturday, Dec. 6, a 7 p.m. start time against the visiting Merritt Centennials at The Q Centre.

Always a fan favourite and a great time, the game is sponsored by CFAX Santa’s Anonymous. Please bring in your Teddy Bears in a plastic bag to throw on the ice when the Grizzlies score their first goal. Teddy Bears will be available to purchase at the game for $10 at the Santa’s Anonymous table.

Collected Teddy Bears will be going to Santa’s Anonymous, VGH Pediatric Ward and Child and Family Services on Wale Rd. Grizzlies are also collecting New Unwrapped toys in partnership with CFAX Santa’s Anonymous to help with the 14,000 families that rely on this amazing program each year. Donations can be dropped off in the Green Bin by the souvenir shop. 2 Burley Men Moving will have a truck at The Q Centre for dropping off stocking stuffers that are also desperately needed to help Santa’s Anonymous fulfill their Christmas Hampers.

BACK ON THE AIR – The Victoria Grizzlies are pleased to welcome back Scott Didmon as the team broadcaster, and he will return to the airwaves tonight for a road game in Duncan against the Cowichan Valley Capitals. Listen to the games through the team’s LISTEN LIVE button on the website, www.victoriagrizzlies.com. Scott Didmon will also be helping with the

team’s marketing force.
