(ISN) – Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops Blazers will have five prospects competing at the Canada Winter Games in Prince George between February 13th and March 1st.

Defensemen Nolan Kneen (1st round, 2014) and Conner McDonald (2nd round, 2014) will represent Team B.C. at the event.

Kneen is playing for the Okanagan Rockets of the BCMML and McDonald is playing for the Delta U-18 Prep team. Both prospects are signed by the Blazers.

Goaltender Dane Dow (10th round, 2014) will suit up for Team Alberta. The Lloydminster product was a sixth round pick by the Blazers. He is playing Minor Midget in Lloydminster.

Two prospects will play for Team Saskatchewan at the event. Forwards Kyle Bosch (6th round, 2014) and Jared Hamm (Free Agent List) were both named to Team Saskatchewan for the event.

Hamm plays for the Beardy’s Blackhawks and Bosch with the Saskatoon Blazers in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League.
