Rowing Canada Aviron Welcomes Celebration Club as New Partner

(ISN) – Rowing Canada Aviron is pleased to announce a new partnership with Celebration Club, our Official National Teams’ Family & Friends Travel Supplier.

With the next two summers seeing Rowing Canada Aviron’s National Teams competing in various European locations as well as in Rio de Janeiro, this partnership will ensure that the National Teams’ Family and Friends are given great service and advice, as well as ensuring that the National Team Athletes can have peace of mind knowing their family and friends are well looked after.

Celebration Club will be providing competitive rates for the National Teams’ Family and Friends at accommodations close to the various rowing venues as well as providing customised travel packages and a fantastic experience for our travelling supporters.

“Having your family and friends cheer you on from the side of the course makes such a difference but it can’t be something I need to worry about,” said London 2012 Silver Medallist Conlin McCabe. “Knowing that they’ll have the option to book nice accommodation close to my competition venue is great and hopefully will mean the trip feels much more like a holiday for my parents.”

“As an Olympian myself, I know how stressful it was for my parents to find and book accommodation in far-off lands,” said Jaime Cruickshank, CEO of Celebration Club and member of the Canadian Bobsleigh team at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. “I always loved having my family and friends in the stands cheering me on when I was competing, yet I never wanted them wasting time, energy, or money stressing over their travel plans. Which is why I couldn’t be more excited to now be able to offer fully supported travel experiences for all the family and friends of Rowing Canada Aviron’s National Teams’ athletes.”

“We are pleased to have Jaime and her amazing team at Celebration Club on board,” said Donna Atkinson, CEO of Rowing Canada Aviron. “The role of the athlete’s support network is so important and any way that we can assist the family and friends of our athletes is a worthwhile service that ultimately supports our National Team compete on the world stage. In Celebration Club, we’ve found a partner that shares that value and look forward to working with them to ensure the family and friends enjoy a medal-winning experience.”
