(ISN) – Kennewick, WA – The Tri-City Americans game against the Seattle Thunderbirds in Kent, which was scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 10, are announcing the game has been rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 11 at 5:05 p.m. because of the Seattle Seahawks playoff game.
“We have agreed with Tri-City and the WHL to move the date of this game to January 11,” said Seattle Assistant General Manager Colin Campbell. “This change gives our fans the chance to watch the Seahawks playoff game scheduled for 5:15pm on January 10. It’s a great time to be a Seattle sports fans and we want to give our fans the opportunity to watch the Seahawks on their quest to repeat as Super Bowl Champions.”
Fans interested in attending the game can purchase a special 12th Man Fan Pack for the game against the Americans on Jan. 11. Fans can buy 12 tickets to the game for only $120. The 12th Man Fan Pack is available for purchase online through the Thunderbirds website.
All tickets originally purchased for the game on Jan. 10 will be honored on Jan. 11.
The Americans are back in action for the annual New Year’s Eve contest against the Spokane Chiefs this Wednesday, Dec. 31.
