HALIFAX — Dele Ogundokun scored a game-high 17 points and team captain Vincent Dufort collected a “double-double” as McGill rallied from a six-point deficit to dispose of the St. Francis Xavier X-Men 76-57 in the bronze medal game at the Rod Shovellor Memorial men’s basketball tournament at the Dalplex sports centre, Sunday.
McGill erased a 21-15 deficit after the opening quarter to tie the game at 32-32 heading into halftime. The Redmen offence moved into overdrive in the second half, outscoring the X-Men 23-16 in the third quarter and 21-9 in the final stanza.
