TSN adds more NCAA hockey broadcasts


(ISN) – Good ratings for NCAA hockey games shown on TSN in 2014 have prompted the network to add more coverage to its college hockey schedule.

The recently added games build upon what was already the most expansive NCAA hockey broadcast schedule ever available in Canada.

The additional games are:

Saturday, Jan. 17 – Niagara at North Dakota, 6pm PST – TSN2
Friday, Jan. 30 – Minnesota-Duluth at Denver, 6:30pm PST – TSN2
Saturday, Feb. 14 – Denver at North Dakota, 8pm PST – TSN2
Friday, Feb. 20 – Yale at Quinnipiac, 4pm PST – TSN2
Saturday, Feb. 21 – Robert Morris at RIT, 6:30pm PST – TSN2

In all, the above games will feature 33 BCHL graduates.

Highlights of the schedule include top 2015 NHL Draft prospects Jack Eichel of Boston University and Noah Hanifin of Boston College competing in the legendary Beanpot Tournament in Boston and 11 games in the NCAA Tournament including the 2015 NCAA Frozen Four.
