CIS TOP TEN TUESDAY (#15): First rankings of winter semester released

OTTAWA (CIS) – The University of Alberta Golden Bears maintain their No. 1 status in the first CIS men’s hockey Top 10 of the winter semester.

The Bears (17-3) resumed conference play this past weekend with a two-game sweep of archrival Calgary, defeating the nationally fifth-ranked Dinos 6-1 and 5-3.

In swimming, the UBC Thunderbirds also hold on to the pole position in both the women’s and men’s rankings.

The CIS rankings in basketball, volleyball and women’s hockey resume next Tuesday.
