Rebels Trade Sandhu To Tri-City

(ISN) – RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today a trade with the Tri-City Americans.

The Rebels have acquired a 4th round selection in the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft and a 4th round selection in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft in exchange for forward Tyler Sandhu.
Sandhu is in his third season in the Western Hockey League. He played 28 games with the Rebels since being acquired from the Everett Silvertips October 20th, 2014, scoring 8 goals and 10 assists for 18 points. He has played in 148 WHL games between Everett and Red Deer, scoring 41 goals and 41 assists for 82 points.
