Matthew Toth of Richmond is looking forward to playing in front of a BC crowd. He said about being named to the team, “It’s a big deal and I’m very excited. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Since squash is not in the Olympics, a chance to play in a multi-sport Games is very exciting.”

Matthew will be joined by his younger sister Andrea Toth who will also compete for Team BC. Matthew said, “It’s pretty cool to be competing with my sister. She is younger than me so it’s great for her to get named to the team. It will be fun to be there together.”

“On behalf of all the members of Squash BC, the Canada Winter Games Committee would like to extend its best wishes to the team as it competes in Prince George,” said Mark Robinson, Squash BC Canada Winter Games Committee Chair.
