MONTREAL — Mariam Sylla notched a “double-double”, including her 500th career point in regular season play as No.3-ranked McGill swamped the Bishop’s Gaiters 85-30 in CIS women’s basketball at Love Competition Hall, Thursday. Sylla, a 6-foot-1 junior forward who hails from Conakry, Guineau, entered the game with 491 career points in RSEQ play. She tallied a dozen with a 4-for-11 shooting performance and went 4-for-5 from the free-throw line.
