Martlets win Sherbrooke Invitational track meet, Redmen finish second

SHERBROOKE, Que — The McGill women’s track and field team finished first of five teams and the Redmen were second overall at the Sherbrooke Invitational meet at th Pavillon Univestrie, on Saturday.

Three Martlets, who rank first of five teams overall, claimed three silver medals, including Melanie Myrand (1500m), Nicole Bewski (pole vault) and Helena Reinfels (60m hurdles).

On the men’s side, McGill was led by a gold medal performance by Vincent Parent-Pichette who won the 1500m in 3:59.66.
