(ISN) – For the second time this season the Cariboo Cougars have put together back-to-back shutouts.

Griffen Outhouse turned away 32 shots on Saturday as the Cougars skated to a 4-0 win over the South Island Royals in Victoria. The win followed last Sunday’s 3-0 blanking of the Vancouver Northeast Chiefs when Dorrin Luding made 27 saves to record a clean sheet.
Steven Jandric, Justin Almeida, Austin Grey, and Darren Hards provided the offence for the Cougars. The win boosts the Cougars record to 24-4-1 in the BC Major Midget League. The Royals fall to 13-13-2.
The two teams complete the weekend set at the Save on Foods Memorial Centre on Sunday at 9:45 am
