Applications are now being accepted for Canada’s largest national grassroots soccer program, Ombrelle Active Start Soccer Fests. Set to embark on its 18th season, the longstanding grant based program has contributed valuable financial, promotional and technical resources year after year to the hosting of thousands of community soccer celebrations.
With the program quickly reaching capacity over the past few seasons, resulting in over 100,000 Active Start Soccer Fest participants each year, be sure to submit your application early via the online form.
New to the program in 2015, festival partner Chevrolet is pleased to offer community clubs the opportunity to enhance their festival’s player development activities by hosting a Chevrolet Skills Program event in conjunction with their Active Start Soccer Fest. The Chevrolet Skills Program is designed as a fun and developmental experience for youth soccer players whereby they can improve their skills through a series of station work activities. Be sure to opt-in to the Chevrolet Skills Program via the Active Start Soccer Fest application form to deliver a fun and memorable experience for all participants.
