(ISN) – A special day for a special girl — Grizzlies celebrate Hannah Day’s journey to health The Victoria Grizzlies are excited to declare Sunday, Feb. 8, as Hannah Day Game at The Q Centre Arena, a 2 pm start against the Langley Rivermen.
Hannah’s story is well known — this brave young girl, now a student at Happy Valley Elementary in Langford, was diagnosed with stage 4 rhabdomyosarcoma. For more information on Hannah, including ways you can help out, go to her website www.hannahday.ca
The Grizzlies are would like to welcome everyone who wants to celebrate and cheer Hannah on through her journey and recovery to good health. Hannah will perform the ceremonial faceoff, and she would like all her schoolmates from Happy Valley Elementary, in particular, to be there and enjoy the game.
All child tickets to the game are free, and $5 from every adult ticket sold will go to help Hannah and her family — her parents, Brooke and Rob.
AFTER THE GAME – will be a Meet and Greet after the Sunday Game at White Spot in Langford, where White Spot will be offering a special 15% discount to all Grizzlies Fans and Hannah Supporters.
