The Ottawa Valley bat-making facility Sam Bat is in with the big boys now.
MLB 15 The Show has new features universal rewards and licensed equipment.
Players will use the same gear you see major leaguers wearing from nine of the “most iconic brands” in baseball.
This year when playing MLB 15 The Show your players will wear Franklin, Louisville Slugger, Nike, Under Armour, Wilson, Rawlings, Sam Bat, Mizuno and Marucci equipment.
Players will use the same batting gloves, bats, fielding glove and cleats that they use between the lines.

Anderson and husband Jim Anderson, bought Maple Bat seven years ago from founder Sam Holman. The Carleton Place factory makes bats for roughly 470 pro players from all 30 teams.
