The No. 2 Nationally Ranked Chargers pulled off today’s Valentine’s victory in four to advance to 19-2. The loss moves COTR to 11-10. Fifth-year outside hitter Hilary Graham led the Chargers with 19 points (18 kills and 1 block). Third-year outside Katie Fetting had 14 points (11 kills, 2 blocks, 1 ace).

MEN’S FINAL SCORE:
Camosun Chargers (#2) def. COTR (#6)
CAM 3-0 COTR (25-19, 25-16, 25-15)
Camosun cruised to a straight set victory this Valentine’s Day to improve to 15-6. COTR slips to 5-16. Fourth-year middle and PACWEST MVB Athlete of the Week, Alex Sadowski, was the high man for the home team with 10 points (5 kills, 3 aces and 2 blocks). Second-year rightside Rian Plante contributed 7 kills and a block for a total of 8 points.

The battle between Camosun and COTR continues tomorrow (Sundday, Feb. 15) Women 10am; Men 12noon at PISE.
